Measuring Tips

Measuring your dog for a custom sweater from WestieWear™

Collar – Measure around where the collar normally rests

Collar to Arm – Distance from front of collar to the arm joint

Chest – Measure around the midsection at the widest point just past the arms

Waist – Measure around the narrowest part of the body, just before the hind legs.

Back Length – Measure from collar to base of tail (do not include tail)

Underside Length – Measure the distance from the front of the neck at collar, between front arms, to mid-chest. Stop at 3-6 inches before private area to avoid soiling garment on “walkies”

Harness Access Location (Optional) – If you would like a harness access added to your garment, please include the distance from the collar to where the harness clips between shoulder blades. (We can also accommodate front-facing harness clips, if this is notated when you complete the form.
