WestieWear™ FAQs

We use Premier® 100% Anti-Pilling Acrylic Yarn. It’s soft, durable, and holds up wash after wash without losing its cozy feel. Your pup gets comfort, you get easy care, and the garment stays looking great.

Our process starts with a Design Consultation, where we learn about your pup’s measurements, personality, and your style preferences. Together, we’ll choose colors, details, and timing. You can book your free custom sweater consultation through our Calendly link found on our Custom Sweater Consultation page.

From there, we hand-crochet your one-of-a-kind garment and keep you updated until it’s ready to ship.

Most custom sweaters are ready within 1–4 weeks. If you need your piece for a special occasion, let us know during your consultation—we’ll do our best to meet your timeline.

For sure! Our creations are available on our site through our Shop page. Remember, if you don’t see something in your dog’s size or colors, we will gladly customize something for you in 1-4 weeks.

Our yarn is machine washable, but to best preserve your garment, we recommend hand washing in cool water and laying flat to dry. This keeps your pup’s sweater looking fresh and lasting longer.

Absolutely. We can help you co-create a custom sweater or offer a gift certificate.

Get Sneaky

A custom sweater makes a thoughtful, one-of-a-kind gift. During the consultation, you can share details about the recipient and their pup so we can create something personal and memorable. We can even send out a soft WestieWear tape measure and provide tips on how you can get sneaky, gathering measurements and preferences incognito.

Gift Certificates

If you prefer to keep things simple, you can also purchase a WestieWear gift certificate that we can mail to you or the lucky recipient.
